Best Prepper Gear Deals for Amazon Prime Day 2017

Amazon Prime Day 2017 is live until July 12th 3 AM ET!  While I have been searching for the deals I have found some great prepper gear that you can pick.  Remember, you will need an Amazon Prime Account in order to participate.  But don’t sweat it because you can set up a free 30-day trial HERE.  If you don’t like it after Amazon Prime Day you can always cancel!

Also, please remember that these deals are limited.  So the deals go on a first come first serve basis.  If they are out of stock then you are shit out of luck.  However, I wanted to give you a heads up now so that you can beat the crowd!

Here are some of the best prepper gear deals that I have found:

Unident 16-Mile 22 Channel Rechargeable FRS/GMRS Two Way Radio

This set of 2 Way Radios is ideal to have around your home in the case that the grid goes down.  Now you won’t get much range if you live in the city.  It says that it has a 16-mile range but that is if it is over flat land that is unobstructed.  Typically you will get about 1 to 2 miles in the city.  However, this isn’t meant for long range communications if the grid is down.  Ideally, you will want to use a ham radio for that purpose.

Survivor Filter

Survivor is awesome to have in your survival bags.  In the case that you ever have to bug out or have to walk home in an SHTF scenario, you are going to need water to stay hydrated.  Most likely there won’t be super clean sources where you can draw water.  That is where this filter comes in handy.  This filter comes with a 3 stage filtration system to guarantee that you are drinking water safe.

Sahara Sailor Multi-functional Tactical Pen

Having a tactical pen is a great tool to have in your EDC Self Defense setup.  This pen isn’t guaranteed to save your life in a lethal situation.  But in a self-defense situation that doesn’t warrant the use of a firearm this little pen can be helpful.  It is constructed of aircraft aluminum with a tungsten carbide striker designed to break glass in emergency situations.  The striker can also stun an attacker in a self-defense situation.

Baofeng Two Way HAM Radio

I mentioned early how the FRS two-way radio would be a great option in a grid down situation for short range communications.  The Baofeng UV-5R5 is a great option to have for long range communications in a grid down scenario.  PLEASE NOTE!  That you do need a permit to operate this radio.  So you could be fined if caught using it without a permit.

MalloMe Mess Kit

During a bug out scenario, it is going to be challenging to cook eat food on a clean surface.  You can really pack a bunch of plates in your bug out bag.  However, this mess kit is a great light-weight and easy to clean option.  You can typically just use tin foil to clean it off after eating.

Bushnell H20 Waterproof Prism Binocular

Binoculars are a great piece of prepper gear to have.  They can be helpful in conducting reconnaissance during an SHTF scenario.  It is also useful to have when hunting.  During a collapse, you may be doing a lot of this.  No more stuffing your face with freedom fries from McDonald’s.

Morakniv Bushcraft Carbon Steel Survival Knife

Morakniv knives are one of the most if not the most respected survival knife in the market.  These blades are super smooth to use with a sharpness like no other.  They are also super lightweight to keep in your pack or attached to your belt.  These knives are helpful to have in building shelters, fires and even hunting.

Patriot Pantry 4 Week Emergency Food Supply

You can never have too much food for when SHTF.  The more the better.  A lot of dried emergency food on the market is just disgusting.  However, Patriot Pantry is a great tasting option to add to your food stockpile.  They are easy to make and are typically done within 10 to 15 minutes.

Altogether, these are just SOME of the great deals on prepper gear that can be found during Amazon’s Prime Day 2017.  These were just my top picks.  However, I will be posting more of what I find as the day progresses.

Remember, you need an Amazon Prime Account in order to be eligible for the deals.  You can sign up for a free 30-day trial HERE.

I will also be posting in a few days some the sweet deals that I picked up.  If you have any questions then leave a comment below.  Also, please let me know if you come across any great deals as well.
