EDC (everyday carry) is all preference. There is no one size fits all. This is important to remember when considering how to build an EDC bag.
The EDC bag is part of the third tier of EDC. The three tiers include pocket carry, on-body carry and close-to-body carry. The EDC contain items that you cannot put in your pocket or on your body but still need on an everyday basis.
When considering how to build an EDC bag you need to first determine the items that you need. There are different groups of items that you should consider including emergency, tools, self-defense gear, hygiene items, etc. Once you figure out the items that you need then you should find the bag will give you the ability to carry those items.
In a previous post, we discussed the different types of EDC bags. Such bags include organizational pouches, laptop bags, backpacks and sling bags. All bags have their purposes which should be considered when determining how to build an EDC bag.
