What Californian Preppers Need to Do Before Gunpacolypse

Gunpacolypse

If you have been in your underground bunker lately and didn’t know what has been going on in real life then you probably missed what is going on in California right now.  10 bills coined as the Gunpacolypse have been based and waiting for a signature by the California governor as of May 29th, 2016.

A summary of the bills are as follows:

AB 0156: Restrictions on ammunition purchases, creates a DOJ database of ammunition owners.

AB 0857: Requires serial numbers to be placed on all home-built firearms, as well as curio and relic handguns dating back to 1899.

AB 1135: Bans common and constitutionally protected firearms that have magazine locking devices, such as “bullet buttons”.

AB 1511: Criminalizes loaning of firearms between personally known, law-abiding adults, including sportsmen and hunters.

SB 0880: Bans common and constitutionally protected firearms that have magazine locking devices, such as “bullet buttons”.

SB 0894: Victimizes victims by criminalizing the failure to report lost and stolen firearms within a short time frame.

SB 1006: University of California taxpayer funding for gun control research.

SB 1407: Requires serial numbers to be placed on all home-built firearms, as well as curio and relic handguns dating back to 1899.

SB 1446: Retroactively bans possession of lawfully acquired, standard capacity magazines that can hold over 10 rounds.

SB 1235: Restrictions on ammunition purchases, creates a DOJ database of ammunition owners.

If you are living in California then you are used to the attack on the second amendment.  It baffles me though there isn’t much of a stand that is taking against the attacks.  It seems in almost any other state people quickly stand up and fight against any potential measure that their state government tries to take against the second amendment.

There are only a few possible reasons for this.  First reason is that many Californians just simply don’t care about their second amendment right.  Second possible reason is that many have given up in the fight.  The third possible reason that I can think of is that many are just being quietly rebellious.

Either case it is important as a prepper in California to stand up for their God-given second amendment right.  We are born with the right to life.  Therefore you have the right to protect your life.  I’ve asked this on numerous occasions but how are you going to defend yourself against someone with a semi-auto rifle?  You can’t bring a knife to a semi auto fight.  Don’t be stupid.

This fight is going to be continuous not only in California but also throughout America until these libtards have successfully confiscated our guns.  California has always been a testing ground for liberal/democratic ideas and beliefs to be pushed on the remainder of the country.  Therefore there are few things that I believe Californian preppers can do before this Gunpacolypse.

3 Important Things Californian Preppers Can Do Before Gunpacolypse

  1. Sign up with USCCA

USCCA (U.S. Concealed Carry Association) is a legal service that you can rely on should you ever have to use your gun.  Many Americans have lawfully used their concealed carry guns to protect themselves but still faced criminal charges and even civil lawsuits.  If you live in California you can guarantee that this will happen to you.

USCCA is legal insurance.  More than 90% of Americans have car insurance in case they get into a car accident.  Why should it be any different with legal insurance?  If you think that you can afford to defend yourself against a possible manslaughter or murder charge then you are just foolish.  Most of these cases are going to cost you at least $100k for a lawyer to fight this type of case.  USCCA will secure these lawyers and pay up to their promoted premiums.

  1. Join and support the NRA

The NRA has been fighting against the attack on the second amendment for many years.  It my opinion it is the only reason that the second amendment is still supported and recognized by our government.  They fight not only politically but legally as well.  There are many other things that the NRA does but this post will be speaking mainly about their work fighting for the second amendment.

The NRA is fully funded by donors and not the government.  So it is the responsibility of gun owners in America to support the NRA as they continue to fight.  Even just $20 per month can go a long way.  Without them who else would be really fighting for us?  There are some smaller groups that may stand but the NRA by far has been the most effective.

  1. Deal with it, fight it or leave it

As a Californian prepper you will have to make the tough decision to either deal with losing your rights, stand and fight it or just leave the state of California.  As the saying goes, “if it is to be then it is up to me.”  Nobody else is going to make this decision for you.  Nobody else is going to stand up for you.

The first option is dealing with losing your rights to bear arms.  You may say “well they are only attacking semi-auto rifles.”  If you think that you can fully protect yourself with just a handgun or shotgun against someone with a semi-auto rifle then by all means be my guest stay and deal with it.  Keep in mind though, just in home invasions alone there are normally 3 to 4 attackers.  So you will need to consider how you are going to protect yourself against so many people.

Another option is to fight it.  Now this doesn’t necessarily mean storming the state capital and forcefully removing officials.  Though that would be fun.  No you should fight the legal system with legal fire power.

To do so you will need to contact the governor of California immediately and encourage him not to sign these bills that have been passed by the state senate.  Beyond that you need to involved with the local politics and make sure you are voting people into office who respect the second amendment right.  If you don’t have anybody running who will then you need to step up to the plate.

You should also join local gun clubs and political groups.  You need to bring these issues to the attention of your families, communities and cities.  Encourage others to purchase handguns for self-defense to help them realize how important of an issue this truly is.  On the NRA website at http://findnra.nra.org/ you can search for local gun clubs and groups to be a part of.

The final possible option is to move.  This is probably going to be the hardest and least likely option for Californian preppers because you have already established a life and a job in that state.  Moving would most likely mean starting your life all over again.

Moving would also mean giving into these liberal anti-gun agendas which will allow its spread to the remainder of the country.  As I mentioned, California has always been a testing ground for liberal agendas which have eventually been pushed on the remainder of the country.  So if you don’t fight it in your current state then you will have to eventually fight it in another state.  You can’t run from the fight forever.  You have to one day take the fight to them.

I can’t stress the importance of bearing arms enough.  As a prepper you have to be prepared for the worst.  You simply cannot do that being under armed.
